Senior Project Lead

Metrohm Autolab, a fully owned subsidiary of Metrohm Group, is a leading supplier of analytical and scientific instrumentation for electrochemistry for fundamental and applied research in Academic and Industrial R&D, serving exciting and fast-growing markets such as: Energy Storage and Generation including Batteries, Fuel cells for electric vehicles and mobile devices, Electrocatalysis, (Bio-)sensors, Corrosion research and testing, addressing a wide variety of applications.

Our premises are located in Utrecht, The Netherlands with more than 50 employees responsible for development, production, marketing and sales of the Metrohm Autolab portfolio world-wide.

Your assignment

- With your knowledge of high-tech product development, you enable the development of high-quality instruments and software for technical scientific research in our scrum based development environment.

- You will lead product development projects from definition phase to a released product, including budgeting and hand-over to production.

- You will motivate and engage people in addition to solid technical knowledge.

- You will help to build up development teams (hardware and software), including recruitment.

- You will negotiate with external sub-contractors for the development and production of sub-assemblies.

- You will change and maintain relevant business processes.

Your profile

- You have an electronics engineering or similar background (Bachelor level or above) with prior experience (8+ years) in successfully managing challenging development projects. Ideal candidates for the open position consider teamwork and fostering efficient collaboration as essential for success.

- Prior experience in interacting with software development teams and knowledge in analog electronics are considered a plus.

- For this role we are looking for candidates who do not require visa sponsorship and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Dutch organization.

- Due to the international character of our company, good proficiency in the English language is necessary.
