Senior Hardware Engineer – Power Electronics

Our premises are located in Utrecht, The Netherlands with more than 50 employees responsible for development, production, marketing and sales of the Metrohm Autolab portfolio world-wide.

Your assignment

- You develop and maintain products with a high degree of mixed technology of digital and analogue techniques, while managing the challenge to reach the highest possible accuracy and flexibility for our new products.

- You are collaborating with software engineers, architects, and hardware engineers in one of our SCRUM teams.

- Share your expertise and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Your profile:

- You are a motivated hardware developer (Bachelor level or above) with good analytic and self-learning skills.

- You like to work as a team player and, at the same time, are committed to your tasks.

- You have at least 10 years of experience in developing power electronics.

- You have experience with product development and are willing to push a product from the first idea up to bringing it to production.

- You have proven knowledge of high power switch mode electronics and power converters.

- For this role we are looking for candidates who do not require visa sponsorship and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Dutch organization.

- Due to the international character of our company, good knowledge of the English language is necessary.
