PalmSens BV develops, produces and sells portable electrochemical measurement devices and modules for the international market. We develop custom devices and apps on demand for specific markets, like the food industry or point-of-care medical devices. Job description:
You will be working on our next generation Desktop and Mobile software. In this role, you will split your time between hands-on software development and leading a small team of developers. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our C#-based desktop (WinUI3) and mobile (MAUI) applications and provide technical guidance to ensure the team's success. Our software is used to control our instruments and analyse/process/manage measurement results. We focus on lowering the threshold for our customers to perform and automate their research.
Key responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain C# applications for our measurement instruments.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support a team of developers to achieve their goals.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to align software development with company objectives.
Requirements:
▪ Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
▪ Experience: At least 5 years of experience in C# development and 2+ years in a leadership role.
▪ Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
- Experience with .NET front-end technologies (WinUI3 / UWP / WPF / Xamarin / MAUI)
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
▪ Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide a development team.
- Problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail.
▪ Bonus Skills:
- Experience with embedded systems or hardware communication.
- Knowledge of electrochemistry or scientific instrumentation.
